The Generals came out of the gate on fire, taking their first two drives for touchdowns on a Pinkerton 4-yard plunge and an Aiden Hernandez 28-yard reception for a TD to take a 14-0 lead.
However, the Chapmanville defense then took over the game, shutting them down in the second and third quarters, allowing only two Winfield first downs until the fourth quarter. The Generals also had problems in the second half, losing three fumbles.
